Porsche streamed a virtual version of their Mobil 1 Supercup race online, as the actual race was cancelled.

At the moment, loads of sports events are being called off. It’s left many fans feeling a bit down in the dumps. Various broadcasters are coming up with loads of different strategies to keep folks entertained. FIFA are releasing full length versions of famous football games and other channels have also made their own virtual versions of their sports. Porsche asked if their drivers would want to take place in an online simulation of one of the races that was due to take place. Many obliged and viewers got to see a virtual version of the match-up.

We won’t tell you who won the contest, but these guys certainly weren’t slacking off. OK, so they’re not going home with any prizes, but they’ll all want to claim the bragging rights at the end. So, if you’re a speed demon, sit down, put your feet up and tune in to some top-notch (virtual) racing.
