Modelling clay monopolists (are there any other brands of modelling clay? Answers on a postcard.) Play Doh have released a short video to accompany their website gallery of “Emerging Species”. Marketed as a way to celebrate the endless innovation that Play Doh can offer us, the website is a menagerie of made-up animals all crafted from Play Doh and animated accordingly. There are some bizarre siamese pigs, a really skinny elephant and whatever on earth a “fartweiler” is, but our favourite has to be the disco frog whose venom causes extreme fever – but only on a Saturday night of course.
