We’ve all been there. The long commutes, drifting off into our imaginations waiting for the minutes to pass. In this new ad for Adobe Photoshop one woman’s fantastical journey comes to life.
It’s a simple idea: a lone commuter, standing on a subway train watching everyone else around her buried in their books and smartphones. Then she starts using Photoshop tools to adjust reality, creating surreal images with the environment and the people nearby.
Even the train itself takes off into the clouds and Photoshop wizardry creates a fantastical city filled with creatures and strange objects.
The pedants among us will say that the ad has been created using After Effects, not Photoshop, but that’s not the point. The point is that Adobe is keen to remind us the only limits are imagination.
This is a lovely, charming video where creativity really runs wild.
