This lovely animated short is a study by a father who discovers 5 years worth of voice-activated Google searches on his phone, mainly from his young son. He considers the relationship his son has developed with the search engine as it answers his questions about everything from “what is inappropriate?” to “what is Charmander?”. The animation style is suitably sketchy and childish, as though it was drawn in crayon, and the video is an interesting think-piece about the role technology plays in the lives of young children.
