Greenpeace UK have made a strong case for educating younger generations about the amount of plastic entering our oceans, and only traumatised one group of school kids in the process (can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs right?). For the video, Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium in Ireland removed all of the aquatic life from one of their tanks and replaced it with plastic bottles and other detritus currently affecting the habitats of ocean creatures. Visibly upset, the children seem to get the message: plastic = bad, fish = good – and the video urges viewers to demand their supermarkets use less plastic in the future.
