Is your dad addicted to oat milk? This poor kid is going through a lot with his dad, 55, who’s at a “difficult age”. We’re loving this new ad from Oatly.

We love a brand that doesn’t take themselves too seriously, and this deceptively simple short advert from Oatly is a brilliant example of that.

The casting of the two kids is absolutely pitch perfect. We see long careers ahead for both of them. The set-up is dirt simple: just a kid, taking the bins out, chatting to a neighbour, with static camera angles you could count on one hand.

And it’s hilarious. Goes to show you don’t need an enormous budget to create good quality, funny content. Looking forward to more videos like this from Oatly.
