No Irish Pub

Atlas Industries made a valid point about immigration this St Patrick’s Day with a novel idea – setting up a “No Irish Pub” in Detroit during the St Patrick’s Day celebrations, the security on the door refused to allow any Irish people to enter, and made hurtful and ignorant comments about people of Irish descent. The idea was to make the point that not that long ago in American history, Irish immigrants were seen as a leech on society and treated badly by people and the press. The final titles of the video make the point “Today we celebrate the Irish. Isn’t it time we celebrate all immigrants?”.
