Following the recent ground-breaking ruling that women in Saudi Arabia are allowed to obtain their own driving licenses, Nissan invited several Saudi women to come and have their first ever driving lesson at their centre. The video is prefaced with the women talking about what and who had always deterred them from driving, before the big reveal that their instructors for the day will be the fathers, brothers and partners who had been discouraging them the whole time. It’s heartwarming to see the men turn up to support their loved ones on their first day, and a great way to commemorate what is such a massive step towards equal rights in Saudi Arabia.
