This promo tells us that Nintendo’s new Universal Studios theme park, Super Nintendo World, will be one massive, real-life video game.

They chose to announce the news in quite an interesting way, by releasing this music video starring Charli XCX. In it, we’re taken inside the theme park, where thousands of people run around a 3D environment, catching coins, stomping on baddies and winning prizes. It feels like an even bigger version of Pokemon Go.

Nintendo says that all visitors to the park will get a wristband that will allow them to collect items scattered around which they can find by using an app through their smartphone. It’s a totally unique approach to designing a theme park and will be like nothing we’ve ever seen before. To be honest though, the prospect of thousands of people running around collecting coins sounds pretty scary… What do you make of the promo and the idea in general? Will it work in real life? Let us know down in the comments.
