Nike takes us inside of their top secret testing facility in this ad for the ACG sneaker range.
We learn their state-of-the-art testing criteria and see the rigours that they put every pair of trainers through before they’re ready to be sold to the public. Some of the tests include patting them in a patch of dirt, brushing them and tying them to different things. This is all in the name of making sure that the sneaks have traction, a smooth heel strike and whether they can be securely locked down. Hmm, maybe they need some new “scientists”, these tests seem a little… odd. We’re not 100% sure if they’re being totally serious.
OK, so maybe this isn’t actually what the inside of Nike’s testing facility is really like. In any case it’s definitely an entertaining promo that advertises a really cool looking outdoor shoe. Their ads for their ACG range are always a little quirky and usual. The range looks to appeal to people who love the outdoors and want to look good on their adventures as well
