The video for Nightmares On Wax’s 2017 single Back To Nature takes you exactly where the title implies, with a host of animals, landscapes, humans and technology forming some kind of moving tapestry reminiscent of a Jimi Hendrix album cover. The animation style is intentionally quite blocky, which makes it looks like you are going through a scrapbook someone has cut out by hand. Later, the video incorporates different styles and effects as the song progresses, especially as it begins to show images of what the future might look like and how the planets interact. It’s all very laid back and trippy, and might send you into a meditative trance before the song is over…
