National Geographic created this 360 degree documentary, where they take you on a trip to see Iceland’s stunning glaciers.

It’s a really cool video to watch, as you really feels like you’re actually traveling along with the rest of the team. It’s an incredibly immersive experience, as you get to see exactly what they’re seeing on the ground. Sadly though, the theme of the documentary is based around the fact that Iceland’s glaciers are melting at an alarming rate. We get to see the massive glaciers in this video, but we also see some of them that have shrunk down to almost nothing and are a shadow of what they once were.

The doc shows us the beautiful icy landscape but it also reminds us how the whole area could be under threat. It’s the first video in National Geographic’s Into Water series, where they explore Iceland and find out about the issues that the region is facing when it comes to climate It’s an awesome short doc that is like nothing we’ve ever seen before. It’s an outstanding piece of work from Nat Geo.
