By now you will probably have seen recruitment website Monster’s adverts – the big purple hairy beast has been popping up around our screens for a while now, and the brand have always been good at putting out short, topical TV spots as events happen. This case study video gives us some insight into how KBS and The Mill teamed up to come up with a novel solution to quickly create reactive content without the usual time and money that it requires to create a CGI creature, including a virtual puppet system which meant the motions of the virtual Monster – “Vonster” could be acted out and instantly recreated on screen.
