Aardman Studios took a break from their usual hilarious stop-motion films to create this cute but informative short video about the history of malaria and the steps being taken to eradicate it from the world. Narrated by Hugh Laurie, we are introduced to Mozzie the mosquito, and shown how his spreading of the disease through history has led to the downfall of empires and the deaths of many important historical figures. The video ends on a positive note, showing how removing malaria from a country can help combat other issues such as poverty and famine, and urges viewers to donate more to help the cause of removing one of the biggest killers of all time for good.
