INSIDER meets the team behind the prosthetics used in Game of Thrones. The series is known for its crazy costumes and characters, with the White Walkers being amongst the most impressive-looking. But how is it all made?

In this interview, we meet the team who make the prosthetics. They do everything, from full head masks, to chopped off limbs, to cuts and wounds, they do it all! Creating some of the pieces can take days or even weeks and can take hours to apply to the actors.  They’re also sometimes tasked with ageing the actors too, making them look decades older than they really are!

What’s more gruesome is that they also have to create dead versions of some of the main characters! Walking around the studio, you can see all of the casts used to create the deceased versions of all the main characters. For someone who hasn’t seen the show, walking into this room would spoil the whole thing!
