MAKIN’ MOVES is a playful short film by Visual Art Director Kouhei Nakama. Nakama uses realistic 3D character models, then plays around by assigning them with weird material properties or splitting and rescaling them in odd ways. All of this is set in time to the thumping soundtrack, and results in some really trippy effects as the models swirl around each other, glitch and pixellate into something completely unrecognisable and eventually expand themselves outwards using a strange kaleidoscope/fractal pattern.
