In a direct homage to Spike Jonze and the Pharcyde, Birmingham singer songwriter Mahalia’s latest single I Wish I Missed My Ex comes with a music video that was shot completely backwards. Directed by Andrew Litten, the video features Mahalia moving down alleyways, grocery stores and a house party, with everything happening in reverse (she even had to learn the lines backwards), creating some brilliant effects as people fall off skateboards, cover themselves in milk and dance like their feet are glued to the floor.
