The latest advert from Lurpak butter is as smooth as the product itself. Presented as a woman’s morning routine, the visuals of the advert constantly move to the right of the screen, capturing the movements of everything from pouring coffee to cracking eggs and putting on eyeliner. Shot in super-slow motion as well as some extreme close ups, the advert makes full use of the products spreadable nature while also obeying the rules of linear movement – with right-ward movement denoting progression and development – something almost as well put together as the sandwich we see as a result of this morning routine…
