This incredible documentary follows the life of Apa Sherpa, a man born and raised in the shadow of Mount Everest. Like so many other Sherpas, he began climbing Everest from a young age as a way to make a living, leading adventurers to the summit 21 times despite the incredible danger involved. Now a founder of his own foundation aimed at educating the children of the Sherpa community, he has focused his efforts on making sure that the next generation have the opportunity to follow their dreams without putting themselves at risk. The documentary shows us the lifestyles of the people living in the Himalayas, who rely heavily on tourism to make ends meat, though must constantly put themselves in danger to provide for their families.
