US rapper Lil’ Wayne sits down with some mates to play an online game of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

The first person shooter is known for being an incredibly immersive game. When you’re sat down playing it, sometimes it can feel like you’re really there, battling it out on the frontline. But what if you were really there? In this ad, we see Wayne’s character in the game, played by a real person, being voiced by Wayne himself. It’s surreal to see another person take on the voice and mannerisms of the iconic rapper.

Eventually, Wayne gets overwhelmed and his character is killed by the enemy. He’s out of the game, and his team mates hope whoever takes over next will be calm, collected and professional. But… then we hear the voice of Snoop Dogg, who’s ready to step into Wayne’s shoes. It’s a surreal ad that pokes fun at over the top ads for shooting games. Did you enjoy the video?
