Bottled Water company LIFEWTR’s new campaign video raises awareness of the value teaching art in schools can have on a child’s creativity and academic process, even though art funding has been slashed in budgets for years. For the video, volunteers of all age groups are given a piece of paper with two lines on it, a lot of art materials, and are told to “turn them into something else”. The results are interesting, with children and young people finding it much easier to dive into creating weird pictures than the older people in the experiment, one woman even commenting on how her career choice to follow medicine has stunted her creativity in ways she hadn’t expected.
