Fender has released a several part documentary series on their YouTube channel exploring the design, production and release of their new guitar, the American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster, AKA the Fender Acoustasonic.
The first episode features a range of interviews with experts at Fender discussing what goes into the Fender Acoustasonic, the influence, the design, the manufacturing, intercut with guitarist Michael Lemmo taking it for a spin.
It’s a lovely series if you’re into guitars, and showcases a really great example of branded content. Fender could have released a 30-second promo showing off the features and going in for the hard sell, but by creating a deep-dive documentary series they can appeal to the fans and their million YouTube subscribers.
