This French animation is a twee tale of a perfumer called Monsieur Pompone and his rival out to steal his secrets. We see Mr. Pompone’s process of making his scents, with a Willy Wonka-style factory full of natural ingredients and an army of little bugs that do his heavy lifting for him. The animation sees a competitor break into his factory and steal his recipe book, resulting in a dramatic chase sequence as Pompone hunts her back down. Luckily, his bug army is there to lend a helping hand, and the short actually finishes on a bit of a dark note as the woman is left with thousands of insects for company.

Food delivery app Just Eat’s World Cup advert is a weird one – we see the legendary John Barnes (known for his multiple goals for England, but let’s face it, more for his verse on New Order’s World In Motion), sat watching the telly, seemingly fine with the fact that the people around him keep licking his head and face. It turns out that Just Eat is releasing a limited edition series of World Cup plates, featuring the faces of legends of the competition from a host of different countries. The tagline of “Lick a Legend” makes sense to us now, but it’s still pretty weird let’s be honest.
