The guys from Kurupt FM, the fictional pirate radio station from the BBC TV series People Just Do Nothing join Santander to warn you about the risks of online scams.

In this funny video MC Grindah presents the TV show, “MC Grindah’s Deadliest Dupes”, where he shows us some of the dodgiest scams going on his home town of Brentford. After doing a bit of digging, Grindah bumps into his mate Chabuddy G, who’s been running a fake clothes website. People online pay Chabuddy for his clothes that don’t really exist.

In the real world, there are lots of sites like Chabuddy’s that are causing issues in the UK. For this ad, Santander wanted to convey a serious message in a funny way to younger people. Under 25s are the most at-risk group of getting scammed online, with fake online shops being a main contributor to that. Santander try to do their bit to stop people getting conned on the web by getting in the help of the hilarious cast of People Just Do Nothing. It’s a really clever way to warn young people about a not so funny issue.
