Nearly 50 years after his death, the legendary Jimi Hendrix is still out here releasing music… To celebrate the release of the new Hendrix album Both Sides of the Sky, the previously unreleased track Lover Man has been given a psychedelic video to go with it, combining footage of Hendrix playing the song on stage with his iconic “Flying V” guitar, as well as old photographs and home movies of the rock legend in action. The video is stitched together with swirling motion graphics and 60’s style ink-bleeds, and feels like something that could have ripped straight out of the Woodstock-era, not something released in 2018.
