The Black Panther soundtrack is one of the hottest records this year, curated by Kendrick Lamar and featuring collaborations with some of the best artists on his Top Dawg Entertainment label. One of the highlights off the record – King’s Dead featuring Kendrick himself, Jay Rock, Future and James Blake – has had an accompanying video released, featuring the artists stuck in a palm tree, getting hair cuts and apparently working in the stock market? The video is visually striking, especially the second half which features Kendrick spitting bars in the middle of traffic in a high speed intersection, and suitably hyped to complement the upbeat tempo of the song itself.
