Jameson’s latest advertising campaign is all based around one extremely unfortunate mishap of a poor bloke called Bill Scully. Set in the 18th century, we are shown the tale of how Scully accidentally ruined hundreds of gallons of whiskey just through a mistake, even after said whiskey had been distilled three times. At first we see how Scully is ostracised by the community for being responsible for such a heinous act, but there’s a happy ending as his boss buys him a drink at the end. The short advert feels like an episode of Peaky Blinders, with huge amounts of work having gone into getting the period setting just right.
