The advert for the new all-electric Jaguar I-PACE takes a sharp turn away from the usual blaring-supercar adverts. Sticking with the smooth and sophisticated brand image, we see a gent deciding to go for a bit of a one-man race through the streets of Monaco at 3AM, the only thing allowing him to do this being the silent engine from the electric-powered vehicle. It’s a cool effect for the video, as the subdued sound design is jarring compared to the quick-paced driving action, and a great way to advertise the fact that the car’s alternative fuelling system doesn’t affect its performance in any way.
