Apple’s latest advert only slightly exaggerates the power of the iPhone X’s face-ID technology, showing a young teen using her unlocking superpowers to wreak havoc at her school. She realises that just by looking at things she can break them open, resulting a rampage of destruction as she blasts open lockers, cupboards full of art supplies, car boots and even a padlock around the neck of a guy who seems to think padlocks around the neck are a thing. It’s a colourful and tongue in cheek advertisement that doesn’t take itself seriously, but we do have one question – how did all that sports equipment get behind the shutter in the first place?
