The iPhone X’s portrait lighting feature is one of its most desirable functions – where it is able to turn taking a selfie into a photograph that looks like a studio quality photoshoot. In this cool single-shot video, Apple show the technology in use. We see a room divided in two, one side at first creating a photographic portrait of a model through the old school techniques to be used as a benchmark, before the same model crosses to the other side of the room and achieves the same thing with a single shot on an iPhone.
