The Wall Street Journal take a look inside Amazon’s amazing biodome office headquarters. Looking like something out of a science-fiction movie, the online retailer have created a totally unique office space for their HQ.

They wanted to create a work place that felt like an immersive forest, located in the centre of the concrete jungle that is Seattle. Using state-of-the-art tech, they made three massive, greenhouse-like spheres. Inside, the whole place is covered in plants and horticulture, making it feel like an indoor rainforest.

The team at Amazon wanted to create a new and innovative workplace that made employees feel like they were walking around a huge park. It’s a million miles away from the dull, crowded bull pen offices seen around the world. Not only does it provide an amazing workplace for its employees, but it also serves as a cool local landmark. Standing out against the concrete office blocks around it, Amazon brought a bit a nature into the dense, urban metropolis of Seattle.
