This beautifully made animation by animator and illustrator Mantas Gr deals with the issue of gambling addiction. The video is narrated by a voiceover talking about the rush that came from gambling, and how the descent into using slot machines robbed him of everything he had. The animation style is dark and moody, featuring some incredible transitions between scenes using imagery that represents what the voiceover is discussing – for all of its seriousness and dark subject matter, the video ends on a hopeful note (also the title of the video gives us a clue that there is still a future for this guy) – as we see a cigarette being stubbed out, another symbol of the end of an addiction.

Food delivery app Just Eat’s World Cup advert is a weird one – we see the legendary John Barnes (known for his multiple goals for England, but let’s face it, more for his verse on New Order’s World In Motion), sat watching the telly, seemingly fine with the fact that the people around him keep licking his head and face. It turns out that Just Eat is releasing a limited edition series of World Cup plates, featuring the faces of legends of the competition from a host of different countries. The tagline of “Lick a Legend” makes sense to us now, but it’s still pretty weird let’s be honest.
