In a year where the validity of news has been constantly under attack, Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat have released a series of Christmas jumpers which highlight some of the ugliest truths of the world today.

 

The jumpers are themed around current issues – war, climate change, ocean plastics, sexual harassment and social media influencing. Each has a Christmassy, but also dark, design on the jumper which highlights the issue – leading to the campaign’s tagline: “The truth may be ugly, but it never goes out of style”.
