More people have stood on the summit of Mount Everest than have been inside Hang Son Doong Cave in Vietnam, the largest cave on Earth. This short film documents a group’s journey through the cave, with both the initial jungle hike to get to the entrance, then the exploration of the enormous cave itself. The cave wasn’t discovered until 2009 and has strict regulations on who can visit it – at over 5 kilometres long and 200 meters high it is easy 25% larger than the second largest cave in the world – Deer Cave in Malaysia.
