Gurrumul is an upcoming documentary about the late indigenous Australian artist Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu. Blind since birth, Gurrumul found direction and purpose in his life through the music of his community, and his music received critical acclaim across the world. This documentary looks like an intimate portrayal of the man and the strange dilemma he found himself in – of being swept up into the world of fame and show business while also having to remain true to his roots and his people.
