For their 2018 Spring and Summer selection, Gucci have teamed up with artist and frequent collaborator of the brand Ignasi Monreal, whose paintings are the direct inspiration for the majority of the collection. In this bizarre campaign video, Monreal himself takes us on a tour of his surreal artworks, all full of figures clad in Gucci apparel, before physically stepping into a painting inspired by ‘Ophelia’ by John Everett Millais, where a model is wearing a very snazzy gold-sequinned dress.
