Greenpeace give us a fright with #PlasticMonster, where an evil monster comes after people who use too much plastic. The ad takes aim at Nestle, criticising the companies promotion of single-use plastics.


In the ad, we see Nestle’s “Head of Plastics” officer try and get a drink from a vending machine. After the drink gets stuck, he reaches his hand in to retrieve it. But little does he know that the Plastic Monster is lurking inside, waiting to pounce!

Greenpeace do a great job of making a funny and interesting ad about a serious issue. Although the Plastic Monster doesn’t actually exist, the effect that plastic waste is having on people’s lives and the environment is all too real.
