British GQ gives us an after hours tour of the Stanley Kubrick exhibition at the Design Museum in London.

They’re joined by the lead singer of the band Bastille, Dan Smith. In this documentary, we get a close up look at some of the most famous props from Kubrick’s films. Dan talks about what the films meant to him and the impact that they’ve had on his life. Stanley Kubrick is known for his unusual directing style and fierce attention to detail. Often, just learning about how his movies are actually made can sometimes be just as interesting as watching the movies themselves.

Dan also discusses some of his favourite scenes in Kubrick’s films. The director was known for creating some of the most disturbing scenes in movie history, but he was also known for his dark wit and love for satire. In the doc, GQ give us a great look into the fascinating exhibition. We also see how the director loved to film in in the city of London and how he incorporated the capital into his films. Many of the scenes in the iconic film A Clockwork Orange, were shot in the capital, giving the movie its unique look and style.
