This year’s Christmas appeal ad from Great Ormond Street Hospital takes a boy home from hospital, through the power of giving. The animation follows a young boy, as he’s gifted colourful Christmas stockings through the GOSH charity campaign. His first pair lets him walk down the street, and as the donations grow, he towers through London on a thousand pairs of socks!
It’s a really heartwarming video, which ends with him tall enough to reach through his own window and reunite with his family for Christmas. In his home, we see a photo of the real child the story was based on – Henry, who is a resident of Great Ormond Street and spent his last two Christmases at the hospital. You can read more about his story here.
