Gorillaz, Slowthai and Slaves teamed up for this awesome animated music video for Momentary Bliss.

The electronic rock band are known for their iconic cartoon creations. For much of its history, Gorillaz only performed as their animated selves and the actual band stayed behind the scenes. As time has gone on though, frontman Damon Albarn has become a more visible presence. In this video, we see him along with other artists singing and rapping side by side with their virtual versions.

It’s the latest in a string of brilliant videos from Albarn. Gorillaz are known for their genre-bending and cinematic videos. Although this one is a bit more low budget, the artwork in it makes it feel like a polished product, even if the whole thing was shot in Damon’s living room. Despite the musician’s first album coming out 29 years ago, his stuff still sounds as fresh as ever. Getting the raw vocals of Slowthai and the menacing tones of Slaves in on the track as well makes it 10 times better.
