In sport, it’s a common myth that the toughest and most fierce athletes are the ones who do the best. But in this ad, we’re told that keeping a cool head is just as important as anything else.

Footballers in the modern game are role models for thousands of young fans. It’s becoming ever more important for stars to be on their best behaviour. They need to give young men someone to look up to and to aspire after. Gillette have tried to move the conversation about modern masculinity into a more welcoming and open place and ads like this are a great example of that. It’s a powerful message that will resonate with people across Britain and the world. We think this is a brilliant commercial from the brand and are excited to see more like it in the future.
