Feels good doesn’t it – a two-hour walk to and from work to save on your bus-fare; you’re suffering from the early signs of scurvy because you’ve consumed nothing but rice and pasta for three months, and you’re beginning to wonder just how long you could get away with sleeping under your desk when your landlord inevitably kicks you out. For some people, the only money-problems they ever face is how to get more of it, and this documentary from photographer and filmmaker Lauren Greenfield explores the lifestyles of the so-called Generation Wealth – i.e. those rich people you watch on the TV through your neighbour’s window because you sold yours that time you had to go to a birthday party and pretend like you could afford some nachos and a small glass of wine.
