As far as student films go, Game Changer by Aviv Mano is an example of how to take a simple story and flesh it out into a perfect short film. The animated film shows us a super-macho action figure in an arcade, who is quick to judge a young girl when she decides she is going to win enough tickets to claim him as a prize. Cue a brilliant game of cat and mouse where the action-figure is trying to sabotage the girl’s efforts to win him, featuring a happy ending of course… The film was made for the Ringling College of Art & Design in Florida for their Department of Computer Animation.
