GALLERY is a short film from mountain biking video specialists Revel Co. that uses a cool effect of splitting up the video frame into different sections to make a video that is constantly changing and eye catching. By combining different shots together, sometimes of the same tricks being performed at different angles, sometimes of the same environment but with different tricks being performed, the viewer’s eye is always jumping between the two, trying to see what is happening at all times. Sometimes this is used intentionally to create a flow between the two frames, as the action moves from one to another – at the end the video pans out to reveal it is being viewed in a gallery by a chattering crowd of arty-folks, perhaps you’ll be seeing this coming to an exhibition near you??
