England and Rangers striker Jermain Defoe takes part in BT Sport’s What I Wore series in this video.
The veteran player is still smashing in goals at the age of 37 for the Scottish side Rangers. He’s become a cult favourite, known for his blinding pace, nimble feet and his great reputation as a super sub. He kicked off his career with West Ham in 2000 and has played for numerous top flight teams since then.
He made a name for himself with the Hammers and then had over 100 appearances at the North London club Tottenham Hotspur. After that he had spells at Portsmouth, Sunderland, Bournemouth, Toronto and finally ended up at Rangers. He also had a stellar career for England, racking up 20 goals in international tournaments. In this video, he looks through some of his old kits and relives some of the memories that he had whilst wearing them. It’s a cool video from BT Sport that gives us an insight into the career of one of football’s greatest journeymen.
