This short film by Kahlil Joseph uses excerpts of music from Flying Lotus’ album Until The Quiet Comes. Against the backdrop of South-Central Los Angeles, we see a story of young boys in the hood and a role-model trying to help them. There’s a lot of interesting imagery here and the visuals beautifully compliment the music (look out for Flying Lotus himself in the car at the end), making us kind of wish for a full-length version of this project, whatever that could be.
