If it’s strong female characters you’re after in 2018, FLOWER looks like it’s going to be the holy grail… Starring Zoey Deutch as the sassy Erica, the film follows her trying to adjust when the mentally unstable son of her mother’s new boyfriend moves into their house. Deutch already looks like one of the contenders for best lead of the year, as her portrayal of Erica is quick-witted and edgy without seeming too polished or Hollywood-esque.
