This short documentary from the Wall Street Journal interviews Bhide on the project. She details just how bad the commuting situation in Mumbai is at the moment, with 8 or 9 people a day dying due to overcrowding on trains and roads. The packed city is crying out for infrastructure, but the enormous subway system project is hampered by bad foundations, disruption to places of worship and flooding from monsoon weather conditions.
