To showcase the Galaxy S9’s prowess when it comes to photography in dark situations, Samsung’s epic advert Jet Lag shows a woman forgoing sleep in favour for a night on the town.

Filmed entirely around Hong Kong, the advert begins with a woman in her hotel room unable to sleep. Just as she is about to post a photo with the caption “I hate jet lag :(“, she decides instead to make use of her wonky-body clock by venturing out into the city for an evening.

What follows is a whirlwind evening of adventure, as we see her enjoying crazy club nights, bumping into a whole new group of friends, blasting around the city on mopeds Akira style and even having a whirlwind romance, all in the space of an evening.

Designed to showcase the S9’s photography skills, the video heavily features her snapping photos as she jumps from place to place, all in low light but producing amazing results. This director’s cut of the advert gives us a much extended version of the video, allowing for more photography, neon and hijinks alround.
