Facebook brings Holi to a lonely Indian man in this great advert.

In it, the man jealously looks at his friends Facebook timelines, as they post pictures of the them celebrating the colourful festival of Holi. During the festival, people throw coloured powder around which ends up coating them in an array of impressive hues. The man is living in a cold European country and can’t celebrate like his friends. But they come up with a plan to make sure that he can join in with the festivities.

They add his friends on Facebook and tell them to collects coloured bits of chalk. They mix it with fallen snow and end up having a colourful snowball fight. It’s an unconventional way to participate in Holi, but the end result is just as fun. It’s an entertaining ad that speaks to both Indians living in India and the wider global diaspora. We love this inventive commercial from Facebook. What did you make of it? Did you enjoy it? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments below this vid.
